- Short: Imagine Pic. Drew Vogel
-
- PICTURE: Master.IFF24 and Master.DCTV
- TITLE : The Making of a Masterpiece...
- CREATOR: Drew Vogel, BowTie Productions
- DATE : 11-Oct-93, original release 04-Oct-93
-
- ** UPDATE:
- This new release adds another object to the scene (the Attributes
- requester). I found the other one just too plain.
-
- This picture was created with Imagine 2.0. It rendered in just 13 minutes on
- my Amiga 2000/030/882 with 1 meg chip, 4 megs of 32-bit memory.
-
- This is a compilation of screen shots and a finished picture of mine (called
- Cafe.DCTV) that was rendered a few months ago. I saw an ad in September's
- Computer Graphics World that I liked, and wanted to try to put a slightly
- different spin on it... This is the result.
-
- In order to preserve the detail on the screen shots, it was necessary to
- set the EDLE (anti-aliasing) to 0. Normally, I render with a setting of 30.
- I agree with Steve Worley (hi Steve!) that EDLE should be configurable in
- individual projects. Hey Impulse - are you listening?
-
- The Cafe.DCTV picture uses the following textures:
- SwirlTurb
- VeinedMarble
- Pastella
- Bump
- TreeBark
- VaryAbsRGB
-
- The sword in Cafe.DCTV is an object created by Al Braunworth and is available
- on a Shareware collection that he offers.
-
- The font object was created by Paul Wehner and Drew Vogel.
-
- This file is being distributed with a 4-plane DCTV version also, and it is
- recommended that you view in this format, if possible. The DCTV version
- displays finer detail with the lights and shading, and the texturing on the
- torus looks much better. Additionally, the DCTV version is about 1/4 the size
- of the 24-bit file.
-
- Don't claim this as your own. It's mine. Leave it the way you found it.
